We have had the opportunity to host several young people at Bowyer Engineering and we will continue to do so.

Work Experience

This is a valuable opportunity to extend students’ learning. The opportunity to do ‘hands-on’ tasks and activities in a field of interest is valuable. The aim is to give an insight into working life and to give them the opportunity to work alongside adults, undertaking new tasks and developing their self-confidence.

 “Take your child to work day”

“Take your child to work day” which was initially set up to help promote equality in the workplace, broaden horizons and challenge stereotypes. Attitudes towards careers have changed considerably over the time but with an ever changing and fast-moving employment market, it is important to give all young people every opportunity to explore the labour market, develop key skills, understand what options are available and start thinking about their future.

We welcomed Isabelle into our company for bring your child to work day. She spent the day with our Human Resources, Project management, Design, Engineering and finally with one of our Directors to help her understand the importance of daily management.
